You will generally find me barefoot, covered in glitter and with a puppet on one hand. I love what I do, and I am honoured to be trusted with your precious child or teen. I have a big heart, and all of my kiddos wiggle their way in.
I will be your loudest cheerleader (complete with pom-poms and dance moves), the person in the corner of the boxing ring mopping your brow (especially if the fight is against those scary math tests or swimming lessons) or the pesky voice in your head that reminds you to ‘b r e a t h e’.
I am a clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents and families. I am fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
And finally, I often get asked why I called my practice ‘Rainbows and Muddy Puddles’. We all face the storms of life. Maybe it’s menacing dark clouds, a few raindrops, heavy storms, or maybe the hail knocked you out. After the storms come the fun things, the magical rainbows and muddy puddles for jumping – the healing, new realisations, new skills, an awareness of our strength and resilience. I am here to help you find the magic - guiding you, giving you a map, pointing out the signposts, cheering from the sidelines. BYO gumboots!
